In June of 1995, graduating from Foreign Languages Department, Wuhan University of Science and receiving B. A. degree in literature (Major: English).

In June of 2000, graduating from School of Foreign Languages, Sun Yat-sen University and receiving M. A. degree in Literature (Major: English Language and Literature).

In December of 2005, graduating from School of Foreign Languages, Sun Yat-sen University and receiving PhD degree in Literature (Major: English Language and Literature).

From March of 2003 to September of 2003, visiting scholar in the Department of English Literature in the University of Edinburgh, UK, sponsored by Lingnan foundation in Sun Yat-sen University.

   1. In 2016, chairing the project named “The Poetic Study on Katherine Mansfield’s Poetry”, which belongs to the national social science research foundation item for the year 2016.

   2. In 2012, chairing the project “Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s Exile and Anxiety”, which belongs to the provincial project in philosophy and social science for the year 2012 in the “Twelfth five –year Plan” in Guangdong Province.

   3. In 2009, chairing the project “The Anxiety Embodied in Poetic Lines---The Study of British Victorian Women Poets and Their Poems”, which is supported by “the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities for the Cultivation of Young Teachers in Sun Yat-sen University”.

   4. In 2003, chairing the project “The Works of V. S. Naipaul and the Study of Postcolonial Theories”, which belongs to the research item in Sun-Yat-sen University.
