Jianxin Ding is currently Professor and PhD Supervisor of Linguistics in Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China.
He is the Director of Language Studies Institute of SYSU. He is also the Dean of the Department of International Studies of Nanfang College of SYSU. Professor Ding is one of the key scholars in (critical) discourse studies in China.
