Faculty of Foreign Languages and International Studies established

Recently, the Faculty of Foreign Languages and International Studies was formally established. On May 30th, 2014, a faculty meeting was held, where the decisions from the University were announced. Chen Chunsheng, Executive Deputy Secretary and Vice President of Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), attended the meeting and delivered an important speech. The Faculty of Foreign Languages and International Studies consists of School of Foreign Languages (FLS) and School of International Studies. Professor Huang Guowen is appointed the Dean of the new Faculty. The FLS CCP Committee is renamed the Faculty of Foreign Languages and International Studies CCP Committee.
