National Creative Writing Competition, 15 May

Do you have a story to tell? Are you a writer working creatively in English, even though it's not your native language? This is is your chance! We are now accepting submissions for the first ever national creative writing competition held by the Sun Yat-sen University Center for English-language Creative Writing.

Submissions of fiction and nonfiction pieces up to 2,000 words, or up to three poems, will be judged by a panel of American and Chinese writers. The winning submission will be considered for publication, and the writer invited to give a reading in Guangzhou.

Entrants must be non-native speakers of English. Contest entries must be written in English. To enter, send a .doc, .docx, or .pdf of your piece to creativewritingchina@gmail.com by May 15th, 2014.
