Nominated Best Supporting Actress of the 43th Golden Horse Film Festival and Awards
In celebration of 20 years spent playing Emily

Introduction of the Play:
Pearlly Chua is an actress who has worked on the Emily of Emerald Hill script for 24 years. In her latest interpretation of Emily Gan, an ardent fan of the play who had watched 10 of her 13 renditions, commented he noted an increase in interaction between Emily and the
audience.
She replied, "I used breathing to comment, exclaim, and/or punctuate the delivery."
For members of the audience who are fans of literature, drama, and speech, these gaps made room for quick reflection. Mental post-its accumulate as Emily traversed the script with gumption, guile, and guilt.
