Speaker: AJ Betts

AJ Betts is an author, teacher, speaker and cyclist. Zac & Mia is her third novel for young adults and winner of the 2014 Ethel Turner Prize for Young People's Literature. It was inspired by her work teaching at a children's hospital and it's a lot about love, and a little bit about cancer. She lives in Perth, and writes when she's not bicycling - or picking up shopping lists from the supermarket floor.
