Symposium Objective
The Faculty of Foreign Languages and International Studies (FFLIS), Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) and the Halliday Centre for Intelligent Applications of Language Studies (HCLS), City University of Hong Kong (CITYU) are co-organizing a special (two-day) symposium from 8-9 September 2015 at Sun Yat-sen University (Guangzhou, China) to honor the lasting contribution of Professor Ruqaiya Hasan to the study of language, meaning and society.
